About the artist: 
Damian King
Location: Oakland, California
I am an illustrator and designer living in the Bay Area of California with my wife and two boys. I did freelance for many years before finding myself in the corporate world. Currently I am the sole illustrator at Clorox, who owns about a dozen or so brands, like Burt's Bees, Brita, and Hidden Valley Ranch. I grew up skateboarding and snowboarding in the Pacific Northwest frolicking through the forests. I love ferns, the colour orange, and coconuts.
How did you keep busy with time on your hands at home?
No problem staying busy. Home-schooling my 6 year old, taking care of our newborn, doing design and illustration for the many brands under the Clorox umbrella, and house hunting. I barely have time for myself. It's a miracle if I take a shower more than once a week. I recently did a couple murals in Oakland to support the BLM movement. Those were a ton of fun. I've also been making a bunch of cardboard sculptures that I cover with paper mache and house paint.
