We thought you should be the first to know that the 'Dappled Cities' will be playing right here at the 'Deus Temple of Enthusiasm' for our "Slidetober Surf Music & Art Fest'. We're so buzzed to welcome to our stage a prolific band with such talent and presence. Headliners for the music chunk of our multifaceted event day. Consider it a little gift from us to you, a free concert to bring the buzz and excitement from the days 'Slidetober' surf competition right through to the evening events. Not forgetting that amidst all this surf & turf, there will also be an exhibition from our English artist in resident, Stevie Gee. But more on that real soon. We're gonna paint the 'kampung' red with rockin' tunes, dancing feet and a drink or six. You wouldn't wanna miss that now would you?

In case you didn't know, 'Dappled Cities' have been part of the Sydney music scene since 2000. They released their first album 'A Smile', in late 2004 and was featured as album of the week on Aussie radio stations FBi and Triple J.The band has been touring all over the world rocking stages as far as New Zealand, London and the States where they played the Crocodile Club in Seattle, Mercury Lounge in New York and the Troubadour in Los Angeles. Little birdy told me that they have just finished recording their fourth album last month set for a release next year. Here's a few shots from their travels.
